Genevieve and Tomas have been making media and telling stories together for 20 years.
Genevieve Anderson is a writer/director/producer and social entrepreneur based in Los Angeles. Her award-winning films have screened at over 100 festivals worldwide, incl. Berlin, SXSW, Palm Springs, and have aired on ARTE, France and IFC. A Rockefeller Media Artist Grant recipient and Annenberg Fellow, she earned her MA from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. For 15 years, she produced the major works of renowned video artist Bill Viola for venues such as Venice Biennale, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Deutsche Guggenheim, LA Opera, among others. Featured in the Emmy-nominated PBS special Forming the Formless for her puppet films, Genevieve also founded WUNZ Apparel in Action and Make It Work LA, empowering women experiencing homelessness through employment pathways.
Tomas Arceo is an award-winning filmmaker, cinematographer, and photographer with a passion for crafting powerful imagery.
He honed his craft at the University of Michigan, immersing himself in every film and photography course available, often alongside his own professors.
For over 30 years, Tomas has been a key player in the automotive advertising industry, working as an Assistant Director, Lighting Director, Camera Assistant, Key Grip and Gaffer. His portfolio includes campaigns for Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Fiat, Ford, GMC, Mercedes, Renault, SEAT, and Škoda, collaborating with top agencies like Jung von Matt, Designory, Ogilvy, Grey, JWT, and Saatchi.
His work has taken him across 18 countries on five continents, from the heat of South Africa to the frozen expanse of the Arctic Circle.
